2025 Gala Concert – Ticket Sale Open
Dear Parents, & Orchestra Students,
Happy New Year!! I hope you all have a wonderful break.
Our biggest orchestra event is the Gala Concert & Afterglow on Saturday, February 1st at 6:30 pm. This is an event you don’t want to miss! Other than our amazing orchestra students, this year we invite three talented and well-known musicians to perform, Dr. Drake Dantzler, tenor soloist, Mr. Constantine Novotny, baritone soloist, and Ms. Nicole Joseph, soprano soloist.
Immediately following the concert, there will be an Afterglow party in the cafeteria. We are very fortunate to have almost 30 restaurants and stores in our community that generously support us by donating food for the Afterglow party, and prizes for the raffle. The dress code is dressy attire. Tickets can be purchased for $30 at https://troyhighorchestra.seatyourself.biz
Email TroyHighOrchestra@gmail.com to reserve accessible seating, or if you have any questions. All the proceeds from the ticket sale, and raffle are going to support our orchestra program.
In order to support the event, we would like to ask parents to do the followings:
- Buy the Tickets Now: As always, our students would love to play in a full house of audience. Click the link and purchase the tickets now. Our lobby is getting very crowded on the concert night, so it would be better to purchase the tickets online now rather than at the door on the concert night.
- Spread Out the Words: Please help to spread out the words. Invite your families, friends, colleagues to come to support us. Post the poster on your social media. If you can, print the attached poster, post it on the bulletin board at your work.
- Volunteers Needed: As we organize huge events like this gala concert & afterglow, we need many parents to help behind the scenes. Please login your CutTime account, go to dashboard, click events, then gala concert to sign up. Majority of the positions are either on Friday night for decoration or Saturday late afternoon for picking food from our sponsors. We also need some help before the concerts in the lobby and backstage.
Attention: Please sign up as a volunteer as soon as you can, don’t wait a few days before the gala to sign up. All our planning committees are parent volunteers who also have other family and work obligations, we cannot make the planning at the very last minute with this big event. Please help us to keep the orchestra’s traditions and we cannot run the concert without parents’ support. And a friendly reminder, OATH is going to reinforce that all parents need to volunteer at least 3 times a year. If you haven’t signed up for any volunteer work this year, kindly make the arrangement to do so.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us. We are looking forward to seeing you at the concert night.
